Every year in December the owner of the company I work for has a puzzle made up from a Christmas scene. The puzzle board with all of the pieces gets set up in the kitchen and throughout the month, people try to complete it. The kicker is that a picture of the actual image isn't made available for reference. Nobody knows what the picture is until the puzzle is finished. Some of the pieces are cut to resemble the initials of every individual that works in the office, some look like animals, some look like objects associated with the season. It's always completed before the holiday and then the owner has it framed. Once it's completed, the artist signs and dates it. All of the puzzles assembled through the years are on display throughout the office. They're really nice. They're thick and made from wood. The owner is an art collector. He has original oil paintings, water colors, pencil drawings, etc. on display in the office. He rotates the art each season. His home resembles a museum.
What are these puzzles made from?
Are they made from the same wood as the art prints? If so, that's awesome.

My bad, flim.
I am really curious as to how this silkscreened puzzle thing is going to work. I guess a lot of us will be investing in latex gloves for the job. Am I right?
And how is it cut? Thick cardboard with slightly rounded edges like a regular puzz? A little thicker with sharper 90 degree edges for ultimate image retention?
I'm way excited to get this in the mail. Cuz I'm putting this bad boy togeth ASAP.

Our cart works the very same way & people did lose items if enough people checked out before them. As far as I know from researching cart options that are available, that's how most of them work.MattStrine wrote:It's common for shopping carts to pull inventory as soon as the order is completed because of credit card declines or people abandoning their cart sometime during checkout. Sorry but that's how our system works. Obviously we feel bad but there's not much we can do due to the demand.
Nature of the internet beast.

We printed an aqueous coating on the puzzles so the print is protected and the pieces can be handled like a normal puzzle. It's thick cardboard with both round and 90 degree cuts, actually probably up to 45 degree cuts on the pieces.tourist504 wrote:My bad, flim.
