Does anyone know why all of the current Ebay auctions for this print have been cancelled? It seems a bit strange.

I think there is just a problem between the link from EB to ebay. I checked other prints on here and it's doing the same thing. If you search ebay directly for the prints they are still listed. Strange :?

I was noticing that also. Do you think those are real signatures on those?

I think it's a photocopy of a signed sticker.

A gold edition on the way. http://muttslikeme.adoptapet.com/get_image/index.html

"Shepard Fairey will finalize one remaining detail of the newest ADOPT image by adding the date of the historic Presidential pet adoption to the dog's tag, making the print a distinctive piece of Presidential pet adoption history." Nice pitch.

from: http://www.usnews.com/blogs/erbe/2009/0 ... escue.html

"This is a missed opportunity to set a pet-adoption trend among Americans," says Abbie Moore, executive director of Adopt-a-Pet.com. "With pet relinquishment up 20 to 30 percent due to the poor economy, pets in shelters can use all the help they can get."

Bad choice for the Prez. Glad to see that Adopt-a-pet can cash in a little more for the cause now.

And to make matters worse, the story I read mentioned the Kennedys were giving the dog to "Sasha and Malia", which is a HUGE point of contention among animal welfare activists. You don't give a select member of the family an animal, the animal becomes a family member and is the responsibility of all family members. This is almost as bad as the story I read which stated Angelina Jolie was supposedly adopting a little black boy so her black daughter could have a little brother!
Allegedly.

Its interesting that the Obamas have NEVER owned a dog before. Dogs do not stay cute forever. Thank god they have the White House to take care of it.

Who has never owned a dog in there whole life? Just seems weird. Of course I am from the South..
