... Confused by the $40 price. How does he justify that? Dan McCarthy and D Danger, same style of artists who are far more accomplished and have greater fan bases, are still cheaper by and large for new prints.

At 34x14, it's quite larger than his previous works; the price seems justifiable. Nice work too. I wouldn't worry about buying it, I'm sure if you don't like it, it won't be hard to flip.

Generally, I like Brabant's prints because they remind me of someone else's work (Mostly McCarthy with a little big of Daniel Danger mixed in). I love this print because it Doesn't remind me of anyone else's work, (i.e. there are no telephone poles, power lines, houses with one window lit up, etc). The concept of this print is very original and i think that it is a homerun.

Nah. It still reminds me of McCarthy, which is why I gave it a shot.

The 1 thing about McCarthy and Brabant threads are, there is usually a lot of love and very little bickering. Can't we all play in the sandbox nicely, doesn't mean we can't throw sand, just keep it in the box so mom doesnt have to clean up.

A classier way of asking this would have been " Any ideas on why the value of this print doesn't compare with other new artists prints?"

I inda felt the same way about the price increase, but it really had more to do with this happening across the board than with Mark. Mark is one of the coolest, most personable artist i have corresponded. great loooking print. i just spent way too much $$ on prints thie past 2-3 weeks. but i might trade for this down the line.

See here's my issue with Brabant: If he hand-drew and hand-pulled these prints like McCarthy, I'd be more forgiving of the price increases. But McCarthy's a one man show. A great talent and person who offers up his originals for sale occasionally. Ever wondered why we don't see MB originals?

But this has all been kicked around on these boards before.
