there is a program that comes with some CDROM burners, called lightScribe

supposed to burn a label into the top of a special cd...pretty cool stuff, haven't tried it yet (would love to do it to the live phish downloads)

Yeah, I just haven't seen one for larger format discs like laser discs. Emek seems to be using something different than your typical cd-rom scribe.
