try a blacklight if you have access to one. This is the only way I've ever been able to get a viewable pic of GID inks.

I find if you point the blacklight towards the poster, but not directly (does that make sense?) you can get a fine GID pic.

What I mean by not pointing the light directly at the poster is basically the difference between this: my pic

vs. macc's pic

Macc's pic does a great job of showing off the poster and the GID spots, while mine show more how the GID would look when you're actually viewing it in the dark.

That being said. I'd love for someone to get a good shot of this pixies poster in the dark  :D

It is very easy.... i take it you are not into photography? Do you know someone that is?

It is VERY simple:
1. you NEEEEEED a tripod
2. you should use a shutter release cable to minimize camera shake
3. ideally but not as important lock your mirrors to reduce camera shake
4. Use your lowest f-stop lense, ideally f2.8 or less
5. shoot using delayed exposure.... Set your shutter speed at 2 or 3 seconds if that is not enough, increase it, if still not enough use a higher ISO

if you have questions let me know.

wow... i never saw the red variant before...

i actually think i like the green better though.. (not because it's the one I have.. LOL) but because I like the way the trees and the squatchwatch are so subtle.. you have to really look to see them.. with the red it almost takes away from the coolness of the moons...

quite a price jump in the last few months....

yeah, having looked at both of em side by side, i prefer the red. the green is more natural looking, but the red is more sinister. i like the sinister look.

No problem, pictures with no flash and low or no light is all about being STEADY otherwise they will be blurrier than hell.
