Pearl Jam is definitely the best large venue band out there right now and a great time to be had for all and definitely worth the money. i guess my expectations were way too high from not seeing them play in 16 years.
you heard these 47 different songs in 2 nights and you're complaining?

Hard To Imagine, Corduroy, Severed Hand, Do The Evolution, All Night, In Hiding, Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town, Gone, Who You Are, Unemployable, Even Flow, Light Years, Grievance, Given To Fly, U, Rats, Why Go, Love Reign O'er Me, Better Man(Save it for Later), State Of Love And Trust, Black, Leash, No More, Crazy Mary, Porch, Yellow Ledbetter, Brain Of J., Animal, Dissident, Low Light, Down, Nothing As it Seems, Green Disease, Love Boat Captain, Thin Air, Daughter(War), Insignificance, W.M.A., Whipping, Lukin, Comatose, Rearviewmirror, Footsteps, Once, Alive, Baba O'Riley
Wow. I never looked at the setlist but I could have sworn that they played 5-6 songs both nights. I musta been whacked. Seriously, I had to be. Is that really the true setlist. You were there my2hands. didn't they play Rearviewmirror, Better Man, Corduroy, Daughter both nights? if that is really the setlist from both nights, i'm an idiot and flame away. i'm getting old and me ole memory is obviously not good.

do they still play Oceans live?

and I will always love the song Alive and any Who song they cover.
yeah man, i was there...

they played 7 songs both nights, thats it... corduroy, betterman, evolution, severed hand, even flow, given to fly, and why go... those 7 with 47 different songs over 2 nights is pretty impressive... most concerts nowadays for toehr bands are cookie cutter setlists that dont cghange one bit for 50 shows... Pearl Jams setlists are wildly different every night.

The shows were excellent!! Just some background on me. I saw 138 Phish shows and am not used to hearing the same song two nights in a row regardless of what city am in (so it may not have been fair of me to hold them up to another band. that's like comparing girlfriends. it just doesn't work. I love them both but they offer different things).

The Pearl Jam show were the best 2 shows I have seen in years. they are up there with the Rolling Stones show I saw at the Tower Theatre. I was just really surprised that they played some of the same songs. the same songs were really good songs, so it wasn't bad at all. Just really surprised knowing the depth of the band. It gave me time to run and get some beer, so it was all good. Just surprised. I had like 4-5 songs in my head that I wanted them to play and they did play all but 1 (Oceans) and played 2 of them twice, so I was happy, but surprised too. It's good for the peeps who only saw 1 show too.

Not a big fan of this at all. Good thing for me though, as I won't be going in early tommorow to pick one up, so hopefully can get it off the bay in a couple months for pretty cheap if everyone is kinda borderline on liking it.

It's a sequel to Boston 06. The sailor has conquered the whale. Now the octopus awaits.
As far as Ames comign through, not sure what you were expecting, Framer. This is their style.

I like the poster. Not sure about the colors though.
Yeah Im just realizing more and more I think their recent "style" stinks for concert posters. I would never put a pink man octopuss on my wall. Again... what the hell is that?

I like it. Just not the pink octo.
I purple or black octo on Monday would be a big improvement.
The style is classic Ames, the stuff that got me into poster collecting PJ posters back in 95-96. So, it's an aesthetic that appeals to me.

Not sure how cheap it will get phishbeatles, if you use the Boston 06 poster as a guidepost. It has gone up in price.

Don't count on it.

It doesn't look blue or black to me.
I like the color of last night's and I like the greenish color too. The '06 Boston whale is a classic and this one is a perfect companion. I can't wait to get mine. It's nice being a "have" this time and not a "have not." Trying to trade for the whale in '06 was a disappointing lesson in greed.

boston 06 is better. Having said that, if they change the night II to a different color octopus, stick me in that ISO list. I got somebody's minty fresh DC 08 waiting for an even trade! 8)

I am not a big fan of this print, but it is creative. The sail on the boat is cool as hell.

the concept of this is really great. our hero looked like he had met his demise when we last saw him in 2006. 2 years later and we find out he's alive and well...with an even bigger challenge right under him and once again, he doesn't know it yet. i hope a trilogy unfolds in boston next summer. very cool stuff.

I'm trying to imagine how tomorrow's print will look...
It looks like the water will be the same color and the octopus will be all yellow (instead of pink with yellow suckers) with a black (instead of brown) outline. That is assuming that image depicts the finalized poster. I think that it might be Mansfield I without the pink added. Maybe?

I wonder why Ted Leo and the Pharmasists are not listed on the poster?
