oh, and the stripes themselves only use two colors like forever... so to use a bunch of other colors would be a little ridonkulous me thinks.
see Rob Jones for reference.

Another good point - think it's a prequalifier for any Stripes print. Red, white, black only. Seems like almost all of their prints (and not just Rob's) follow this set of guidelines too.

I noticed it is the 2nd poster for the same gig, Jones did the other, am I correct? What order, and what gives?
I purchased mine from Goodall for 100 pounds a year or so ago, put it in a white frame. Looks groovy. Bring on the Icky Thumb.

What is the question? Why there are two prints for a show?
It's not that uncommon - some have even more than that (think I've seen/heard of as many as 9 prints for the same show but that was part of the gimmick of that one). Prints can be commissioned by the band, venue, or promoter. Or done and then approved by artist determination. Or for a few other reasons that I can't imagine at the moment. No cut and dried reason.

Thanks for clearing that up, as I am not too hip in these areas sometimes. I have to say that they couldn't have picked better artists they did a bang up job.

I know I've read it before, but what the hell happened to that website?

This past weekend I pulled out this poster in preparation to have it framed. My understainding is that Emek hand cut the heart on this poster, I have been working closely with the frameshop to mount and feature the cutout and foil back drop.
After reviewing some of the past posts on this topic I am convinced that people are hoarding these posters, becuse you just can't find them.
I will share the final framed project upon compleaiton.

Could one of you Hoarders please post an actual pic of this print?
