Just added one of these to my collection, I was suprised by how nice the print and quality of the paper is. Numbered out of 75 isn't so bad either, does anyone know if these were actually sold by the band on the tour?

what is the big difference? both are unauthorized, right? One person does it for financial gain and the other one does it for financial gain in the way of bong hits or something.

If this is fan art they did a great job printing, and on some nice paper too. Fans really do care the most :P

well if thesavageguy was claiming that there were bootlegs of this floating around like on ebay and warning people about it, we would be on the lookout for a distinction about the difference between the "official" and "bootleg' version.
since it has been identified as "Fan Art", we now know what to classify it as.
semanticly there is a big diffence in the two terms.

As to both ripping someone off....this one doesn't use the bands likness or propper name, so legally they are off the hook. Usually it's the suits at the label or promoters who get their panties in a twist over this crap...it think the bands dig it.

Must have been drunk....meant to say FAN ART.

To my knowledge, bootlegs (or knock-offs) of this poster have yet to be seen. Can't say the same for MANY other DMB prints.

It's my understanding that these aren't fan art. My friend bought mine at the merch booth in the venue
