Wow, I totally agree. I bought the print and I have been checking every day ever since to see if it had sold out. I have tried (unsuccessfully) to get a Hecox for the last four months, then the one I get takes two weeks to sell out. Unbelievable. Judging by how quickly the other prints sold out, I thought this one would withstand the 200 print run and still sell out quickly. I guess not. I love the print though and I can't wait to hang it on my wall!

I think it just shows how many people buy them soley for the resale. Flippers backed off this one due to the edition size & it took a little longer for people to buy it on the merits of the image & not the potential profit the smaller editions virtually guaranteed.
I think it's a solid image and a good entry print for someone new to Hecox's work. It's also a rare oppertunity to have a few days to mull over whether to buy one or not. We'll see if they start popping up on eBay now that they are sold out.
I believe a similar thing happend with the last (couple?) releases by Dave Kinsey. price vs edition size reflected strongly on the rate with which they sold.

I am in the dark because my MAC email account expired and was closed because I didn't have the necessary funds... I got my Hecox though.

so finally took pics.
corner's a little messed but not so mangled but yet not really to my liking. think it's worth asking for a replacement? or think it'll be fine with time?
i feel the color's a little flat. I much prefer El poder de Hacer from Blk/mkt.

Got mine today, nice looking print!
As for the digned corner from the post above...I do not think that is anywhere near enough damage to warrant a replacement...its just a piece of paper, enjoy the art, don't worry about that small ding.
