205 posters for a “friend group” is quite a few.
That's a lot of "friends" :ziggi:

Where did we get the impression that I only purchase my posters from my friend group? I buy them from lots of places and people just like everyone does. We haven’t commissioned 205 different posters if that’s what you’re implying.

I’m not here to argue with anyone. Rather than heckling me for taking the initiative, why don’t you start a group, add your friends, and commission an artist to make y’all something? It’s fun.

Peace.

Ha ha ha - no. I think you must be looking at the pet cat group with the same name. You’re right, that would be a whole lot of friends. Not us. Great people in that group, though!

I think they are referring to the 205 copies across the various editions of this print.

Ah, my bad.

Yep. When we commission art, we buy it. And variants. We like art and we support artists. True story.

Have a great day! xo

About what? I’ve tried to be clear and kind. Sorry I got confused about the 205.

The pet cat group named Poster Nutbags is not us. As I stated earlier, our group is hidden, so it isn’t going to come up in a FB search.

What are you confused about?

You don’t raise $225,000 for charity with 12 people. I said we are small, but I didn’t say we fit on a single school bus.

And none of y’all have ever bought a regular AND a variant? Your math might be off.

I said compare us to the big groups and we are small. And we are. I am not going to apologize for having friends and raising money for charity.

Look, y’all can come at me all you want. I am a woman who built a small art group in a male-dominant hobby that has become its own community of friends. We grew close over 10 years of philanthropy and art collecting. We’ve watched each other’s kids grow up. We really do hang out and help each other — there’s trust because of the high walls we’ve kept to build that trust. Friends introduce friends. I arrange commissions because we collect art, and then we give back annually to charity with the love and support of those artists.

We donated $28,000 to Divided Sky after my brother died of an overdose. Read here: https://www.reddit.com/r/phish/s/o5PG6bvqTO

We also gave $24,000 to Waterwheel, $42,000 to PHRE, $9,000 to Mockingbird, and $18,000 to Conscious Alliance.

I don’t have to add people I don’t know if I don’t want to, and I’m not going to let any of you make me feel wrong for having boundaries. Like I said, build a group and run it how you see fit. I keep mine private so I don’t have to deal with stuff like this.

Just remember if you attack the deals I make with artists, who are also in the group, you’re attacking them too. Welker and I are friends. I have worked hard and shown respect and have good relationships with artists. What they make for me and how we buy the art aren’t details I owe you.

I wish everyone well here. Truly. I’m sorry if you don’t like me, but I am not sorry for Poster Nutbags.

Always happy to make new friends though! XO

P.S. Here’s when Trey gave us a shoutout: https://youtu.be/5uUNwVl6-1Q?feature=shared

P.P.S. And here’s my guitar pick Trey gave me. I had it set in gold. #phangirl

You don't owe anyone an explanation. People will be upset they aren't able to get in on exclusive prints, but why would anyone care about this one if they aren't in the group? If they are a Welker enthusiast I'm sure they can try and track a version down on the secondary.

If you've made connections with artists and other collectors by sharing a hobby, that's great. Even if some people just want the print for a trade/sale piece, that's no different than most other collectors. If someone doesn't like you because you run a commission group, that's their problem.
