Thanks guys. It was a really cool surprise that the draft sketch was included. It's interesting to see what changed from the draft to the final version - really shows how awesome an artist Stanley is.

I've got the same thing, macc... numbered of 500, signed by Mouse including his running mouse image, standard Kelley signature, full bleed with no black border, size = 19.5 x 35.5

Hello Fellow Trip Friends

A fellow collector got ahold of me tonight via my internet store at www.BLBcomics.com saying they had read this thread, was wondering if I had any Trip or Freaks left, just a few now at this juncture now pushing towards 24 years ago since I was caught up in the whirlwind which was and remains Rick Griffin and his legacy.

Yes, I got my hip joints replaced - both on the same day - back in Oct 2009 - took a couple more years of painful healing to accomplish coming up out of a wheel chair, then on crutches for a while, then dual canes for a spell. It was a long trek trying to return to some normalcy in life.

I found I had to open a "new" EB acct tonight. Log In was not recognizing my user name BLBcomics nor my main email beerbohmrl@gmail.com even though when I went to recover pass word EB was telling me both were "in use" here.

I don't understand, so I created a new acct as BLBcomics01 until such a time I figure out how to contact an Admin soul to sort the first one out. If that is possible

NOW, that all said, I mistyped back in June 2009 when I was recalling some fond memories of our late friend Rick Griffin.

There were 500 of the "normal" edition - signed & number by Alton Kelley

There were 250 of the black border re-marque edition

I had errored five years ago writing 1000 on the "normal" edition. I was in a lot of pain then coupled with the meds local doctor was giving me having zero cartilage in the hip joints, hundreds of bone fragments having had broken off we found out once I was opened up and repaired. So the surgeon told me

If any one reading this has any queries they wish to update on regarding this Trip Or Freak, I am "back" now - if that be OK. Will be happy to clear up any myth and legends which have cropped up over the decades

With that said, looking forward to more poster collecting discussion

Best, Robert Beerbohm

Hi Robert,

you seem to be the one person who knows about this poster and I've looked everywhere for information on this Trip or Freak Poster I've crossed paths with.

I seem to have the edition with the black border signed by all 3 artists but it's not numbered. I looked at the picture that was provided by another person who submitted their images and above Kelly's signature it is numbered. The one I have is not.

I tried adding to my collection but sadly I cannot. I will try and upload images in this thread/post.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, Jon. Just Wow!
Appears you have an AP or PP since it isn't numbered; but that's just an educated guess on my part.
