Another thing I don't get is; how come at the beginning you were just going to pull the prints and not go through the legal process, but now you're gung ho on fighting?

Your first cease & desist can be pretty scary, have you ever gotten one? Think about a multi-million dollar corporation threatening to sue you for damages as high as $150,000. After consulting some knowledgeable people and learning more about my rights I think it is appropriate to defend myself as I have done nothing wrong. Also the little PR love letter Shepard sent out to the media helped me make up my mind that I am going to make this as expensive as possible for him to pursue.

The expenses go for both sides of litigation, Isnt it just as expensive to defend yourself in a court of law?

Don't hate.

I'd like to see Shepard and Baxter coexist.

Baxter, you're punk rock. Keep it up.

He is rich because of Freedoms......I guess he is worrying too much about Baxter to create a REAL piece of artwork.....

If you're currently playing the attorney letter swap game, I'd imagine you won't be saying so much.

Knowing though, what I know about trademark law, your adversary proclaiming that he "selectively enforces" his trademark - isn't going to help his case in court - in the unlikely event it goes that far.

You guys both do things in a similar vane, so it's too bad you don't see eye to eye.
