pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.
I've noticed a lot of security companies hire ex-military and law enforcement to work events. Even though they don't get paid that well, they seem to be much harder to bribe. All that duty and honor brainwashing I suppose. I ain't personally tried it, but I've seen others try and almost always fail. Everyone has a price though amirite.

Mbw black keys LA there were five merch booths. Probably the 3rd time around one of the guys in charge started following me around to deny me any more purchases
I think I left with 20 each night, had a group of 3 other people working for me. Then on the way out night 2 one of the security let me roll up as big a stack of free lithos as I could carry. Was selling those freebies for years

if someone did that - there would be a riot, photos would be blazing, people in line would never allow
alpharetta welker there was instant hostility- when the table opened the 10 dollar window- beer dumped on a stack of 50 would be phishtoric
some shows I've even seen that lady who runs the phish posters managing the table sales - las vegas
if paper tickets were still around- punch the tickets, never understood why it was never done - not too people are going to stock up on tickets to gamble on a poster
make the phans accept a big red X on the forehead to purchase
the Dylan method is the real resolution - electronic lines based on ticket scan at venue- similar to the floor entry now.

prints can be "held back" by employees. so they sell the prints fairly normally, they sell out. merch guy has told unscrupulous D bag to meet me in an hour when no one is in line. boom. seen this move done

absolutely-rare things, but my point is, if one thinks walking up with 600 is going to amount to anything but possible public ridicule when the merc person blabs its to everybody standing there is much higher, which I've also witnessed
the doors open, its a madhouse - one would have 1/2 opportunities to pick the "right" person - I believe the backdoor/inside jobs are greater. Big city venues being an exception- Wrigley field, etc God knows what all goes on.
anyways - last place a flip discussion should occur in a Pollock art thread
be well

It would have to be an inside job for a poster of that magnitude. No way someone would get away with selling 10-20 pollocks with a line like a that and not see people bitch these days but definitely a well coordinated attack by the eBay user. More power to him.Grateful69Phish wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 2:03 pmygolohcysp wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 1:38 pmLol you've clearly never been at the front of the line.
