Jesus…
Imagine how many artists out there would have loved to do an Amsterdam print for Tool.
Is this the third rehashed image on the same tour?

Ya do realize they've done tours entirely of the same rehashed image, right? Must be a new "Tool fan".

I’m new!

The 2022 Tool tour was garbage in the art department.
Been around long enough to know that.
Haven’t seen them since San Diego… hmmm…. In Code Blue’s hood.
What year was that Mikey? 2009? No idea… did you claim my plus one?
New guy’s memory a bit fuzzy, but I definitely remember the show wasn’t up to snuff.
Don’t think they even had a poster… it was after the main 10,000 Days tour, but probably still considered 10,000 Days. The old Cox Arena I think… The place where Widespread Panic played in 1999.
Old….

Doesn’t ring a bell?
It wasn’t Isis, that I know.
Saw them open in Bakersfield in 2006 I think?
I really dug them. Not my thing, but I definitely enjoyed their set.

I’m going to have to dig out some ticket stubs… starting to really wonder what year it was. :x

Isis was a great opener but I enjoy their smaller club shows way more than in the large arena. I took a bit too much lsd when I saw them on that tour.

1996, 2001, and 2016 with 3teeth who are utter garbage. 96 was insane, they oversold the show at a smaller venue and there was a riot outside. I was an usher on the balcony at the front, the crowd below me was a sea of faces and limbs and the way the entire floor just MOVED together when Maynard came out all ashy in a loin cloth and wouldn't look at the crowd, I had never seen anything like that before. Still gives me goosebumps

:pint: Love thatchit!

I would absolutely love to see Isis in a bar while on a good amount of LSD.
Sounds dreamy.

Not many bands can get me to go anywhere near Bakersfield.
That 2006 show was really, really, good.. drove home afterward of course, only 2 hours, on cloud nine.
The bass that night was prominent, wicked, and running the entire show.
Got home and felt embarrassed even owning a bass guitar.
That guy is a freaking monster.

Dis is weird, cuz I have an email conf for a Tool San Diego Cox Arena show in 2007, but it says May 3rd. Had floors for dat show. Did they play another San Diego show earlier that year?

P.S. It's bonkers how much ticket prices have gone up.

Sounds like Author & Punisher from the 2020 tour.
