The only thing I wonder why the background is purple? Orange would have been the better choice as it sticks to the original theme!

Orange would have been too on the nose I feel...perhaps a light blue or the emerald green from the infamous 'ghost' scene.

Yeah, there's been several he did with the purple background that didn't have any theme relevance from the movie.... maybe it just makes a nice background.

Works for a Prince poster at least!

Not really liking this despite the fact I have a bunch of Vertigo memorabilia. It's like a compilation of publicity stills put together on a poster - do we really need 4 Jimmy Stewarts and 3 Kim Novaks on a one sheet?
