The few copies I have seen, mine included, don't have the number or signature in black felt-tip. Gold only. I have seen variation on the signature itself but not the colour. Unless its hidden by the matte (its been framed for 15 years) I don't recall the 'running mouse' stamp either. Interesting variations.

Perhaps the lower numbers of the print are in gold and the higher numbers are in black, its kinda funny because my experience is just the opposite. Everyone that I have seen including my own the number and signature are in black. I actually spoke with Stanley mouse about this print, and he said he has not of yet heard of any bootlegs ever produced.

I will post a picture of mine one day, still working on the frame

Has anyone seen ones numbered to only 90 not 350. I hear his first run with the poster he signed and numbered 90 with out the running mouse. then when the print got more popular he ran 350 more with the running mouse signature, with gold or black pen.

I purchased this print from Mouse Studios way back in the day. It is signed in pencil including Stanley's running mouse image in the lower right white border just barely below the image. There is no gold or black marker. I have # 107/350.

First time I saw this was on some dudes back at further show. Thought it was super bad.

Yes, a classic Mouse, indeed.

I just checked the images posted here, and my poster, including number and mouse signing, matches image 3 of 4.

I cant figure out whether the images without a white border were cut or framed to cover the entire white border, or if there may have been a version that didn't have a white border. IMHO, it doesn't look so good without the white around the image.

Also, I don't understand the images where Mouse signed inside the bottom of the image, rather than in the white just below the image... or is that a plate signature?

From what I've heard there are 2 printings of this poster.

The first edition is numbered out of 90, signed in pencil in the gold ink without the running mouse.

The second edition is numbered out of 350, signed in gold or black marker with the running mouse.

Also I think the background on the first edition is different than the second. The one I have has a solid gold ink background whereas the pictures of the second edition I've seen have a gold ink fade for the background.

Can anyone confirm this info? I don't know much about Dead or Mouse posters so the info I have may not be correct.....
