"Working on a “Living Room” painting for my Spring Show. Lots of work still to do. Building oil paint takes a while. I’ve had this recurring theme of an old master musician playing for a room of full of curious characters for a long time now. This was originally a portrait of a friend in the context of my Living Room series. I have the good fortune to be able to finish it properly now."
