Then why the fug are they calling it Quincy now?

Beats me. Notice how EB's venue info says "George", too? I was just driving through that part of the world a couple weeks ago, on my was to see my parents. Passed The Gorge Amphitheater without even entering the Quincy city limits.

As someone from that part of the country, I can say with certainty that it is physically in George, a small farming community in Central Washington. Quincy is several miles away.

As someone near there I can affirm this; although to be fair, in re: a previous statement, George is more of the 'pit-stop' and Quincy is a little larger 'town'. But to be honest, it should all be changed to Gorge since that's all we call it anyway.

Just occurred to me that all three show posters from DMB’s 2019 Gorge run say Quincy on them. The 2018 show posters all correctly say George, on the other hand. Appears to be a f*ck up from the band’s camp rather than Chuck and the other artists.

They did this for Alpine Valley too. They wrote Elkhorn when the actual venue is in East Troy.
