anyway, here's my take....i like dan's art. i am a sub holder. if he wants to do runs of 550, fine by me. i am just happy to have a wonderful piece of art by a great artist....i know there are some collectors who want to own super rare pieces and who need a particular # or a low # of a print....whatever...if you are doing that, then you are not collecting for the same reasons as me... to each their own...

By series, is that the current "print club" series, or something else. Part of the fun each month is speculating what the run size will be. Oh yeah, that and the art

hey folks
i'm glad to hear you like this print, thanks. did someone say speech? yes! ..each time i make a new piece of art, i need to do what feels best to me at that particular time in my life. i couldn't be an artist if i worried about trying to make stuff that would appeal to everybody. so i'm sorry if some of you won't be happy if there are more dinosaurs in the future.. because there probably will be and there probably will be prints like LQL and TDEBN... i just need to play it by ear. all the prints from this series will be 550. i know my print run sizes have increased over the years, but it's something i feel like i have to do because i like to think there are 550 empty wall out there that need some art. i'm sure at some point i will be tired of dealing with that many prints and i will probably change it up a bit. so... in conclusion, i probably shouldn't read this message board because it messes with my head. thanks again for your support. -dan

I have to agree. THis is my third year for the sub. I love Dan's work. Not all of it but most of it. The sub is a GREAT value. The size of the edition does not bother me. I love the fact that his art is being appreciated by more and more people.
