I guess it´s a run of 550 (like the last ones were).
Anyway it looks great and I can´t wait to receive the next tube of the sub.
All the sweetest winds they blow across the south...

This strongly reminds me of Caspar David Friedrich:

He won't feel good about being lost if he stubbles into "The Woods" with all those freaky owls.

Man, this print will be awesome. I am going to have to start wall papering my house in McCarthy prints just to get them all the wall.

[quote="Grateful69Phish Being a hiker, this one was a complete gimme.

Agreed - the first thing that popped to mind when I saw this was I have to get out and get hiking - great job at conveying man's awe and appreciation of nature and how you often have to seek it out.

I really like the looks of this print - still very happy with the sub and don't really care if Dan makes 300 or 3000 of these - one will do for me.

I like it, a lot, but will always share my opinions. You can still like a print but have thought something might have been better.

I thought about it last night- thinks it the yellow color. (Ive hiked my shares of trails and yellow rocks isnt a color typically seen in the Eastern half of the united states).

Maybe a layering of rock colors would have been totally blown me away..............

The pronounement of the root structure is something I continue to debate also.

I think the rock colours are done to maintain the perspective of the scene. Too mainy colours and the mountain would take away from the foreground.

Im a color loving fool !

And I agree, theres some intentful artist perspective and purpose to McCarthyMan.

How about a sunset reflection then on the rocks and or maybe a sprinkling of sparkles to reflect mineralstones? LOL -

Theres a lot being said with the pronoucement, for I have stood on that exact rock and know the feeling that is being portrayed.

So that is the Three Brothers from the picture posted before? In Australia we have the Three Sisters!

Amazing- the thrill of hiking, and the agony and beauty of what nature derives.
