so I called CID and spoke with a very nice woman about the extra posters they may have and what they would most likely do with them. obviously, since the tour just ended yesterday, they are still shipping out the posters to their VIP customers and she didn't have any idea about how many posters would be left over. she did say that in a few more weeks someone there may know more about what is happening to the extra posters and she also said that typically they send their extra posters either back to the artist (EMEK) or that they would give them to Dead & Co to sell through their store. So, I'm going to wait another week or two and just call them again.

Thank you for doing this! I've been checking the Dead&Co shop a few times a day already.

called CID again today. the nice woman that I got said she really didnt have any idea what was going to happen to the extra posters. she at least did say that they wouldn't be thrown in the trash.
She also agreed with me that most likely, the extras would be sent back to either the artist or to Dead & Co. she tried to do the math off the top of her head and I helped her out by saying even if they had managed to sell 300 VIP tickets to each of the 20 shows from this summer that still left nearly 3000+ posters sitting somewhere. she agreed with me but had no real answers. she did say that some are still being mailed out to the VIP customers and that some were being held back in case of damage during shipping. but still, there are going to be a ton of extras of these.

my guess is that ones directly from CID sent to Dead & CO will bare the double EMEK stamp and if any do end up back with EMEK that he will hopefully sign the ones he decides to sell via his website and those would maybe be considered A/Ps or whatever you want to call them if the are actually signed.

well the dead & co poster section finally got a tiny update. perhaps the extras of these are getting ready to pop up there??

heard from EMEK that, obviously, there are variants of this poster and that he will eventually be selling them via his website. I can only imagine how great the variants would look? Black paper? Foil?

The Dead & Company shop has been updated and includes prints from the tour, but not the Emek print

No one actually thought the band would sell these right?

These were privately commissioned by the VIP package promoters, same as with the dead50 prints....
