This is one of the funniest threads that I've read on ExpressoBeans. Kind of ironic that so much attention and fighting about a print called, "The Downhill."

i enjoy the commissioners and white knights of commission not taking any personal responsibility for the sticky spot they put this poster 'artist' in. instead they point the finger at anyone and everyone else, blaming them for the peril they caused.

Oh man just discovered and read through this thread (stayed away because eeh, C&H)

Anyway, y'all sound like a bunch of drymounting Sunday school soccer moms interpreting what Jesus wanted and meant from your favorite passages. :lurk:

That's real nice. Whoever put that together showed lots love of through creativity. I tip my hat and say "Bravo" to that artist. Congrats to your family on your newest edition. May good fortune find Gavin everywhere he goes.

The last 2 pages have been filled with a lot of hot takes that neither side gives a fudge about. Could we share more C&H strips?

Thanks buddy, my Google skills are good though. I'm just trying to change the tone of this thread into something positive. Do you have an awesome strip you want to share?

I think the discussion about this piece of fan art is fine, since we're in the art comments thread. Someone can create a "post all your C&H strips from google" thread in anything goes if they would like.

I still find it funny that this was commissioned by fans of C&H, by an artist who aped Watterson, all while there is C&H art available to be purchased that directly supports Watterson, for the same cost. But, whatever.

It's a little odd that Jerkface's tracejobs didn't get the flak this one does.

This post does not mean I care about any of this
