Jaws at least was different from other Jaws posters. Not my style, but different. This is just another bland Dark Knight poster I feel I've seen 10 times already.

I'm a fan, though I do feel a "hook" could have possibly been incorporated, either in the rubble (I'm aware of the little easter eggs like the Dent poster) or possibly by taking out some of the buildings and introducing skyline. It's not a no-brainer but I do feel like it's well drawn for the scene depicted.

LD's done a sketch for somebody that was basically this concept, so I wonder how much of it was just that he had this design in mind for a while and just wanted to do it. Curious if he ever had more concepts in the backburner...

his shutter island has them throughout the entire print, and its gorgeous. i would expect no different here
