Yep. Seasons was my first big giclee, and every giclee since has been kinda disappointing tbh. $200 is a lot but it's worth every penny imo. Everyone seems to agree that Pressure Printing is one of the best in the business.RambosRemodeler wrote:The printing on these is second to none. It's not that much for a piece this size IMO.

I agree, I was going more along the lines that $200 is a chunk of change in itself. I just paid $80 for a Mondo 18x24 Batman cartoon screen print lol. This is a steal compared to that.RambosRemodeler wrote:It's not that much for a piece this size IMO.

I've been googling, but can't quite figure out what pigment based inks do differently than regular dye based inks as it seems the differences are minimal so just curious.

The printing on these will be amazing. I was impressed with the printing on Horse IV and the embossed was a really nice touch. The price on this one is very reasonable considering the paper surface on this one is more than twice Horse IV. It only costs $25 more. The image is stronger on this one IMO but love them both though.
Received a thumbs up from my wife on acquiring and likely framing Adrift
It's tricky finding anything blue to hang on our white-yellow walls, but this one should work well because the flames in the background. I love the image too, possibly my favorite by James.
We discussed hanging two, per sidewaysscot's recommendation. In the end we decided we just aren't ballers like scottie

James likes a hefty foot for sure. Not a deal breaker for me. On the print, that is.

Good choice! So glad this became a print. Now we just gotta figure out who's gonna loan us money to frame this behemoth...
