Jims most underrated print imo. Was the return of the robot if I remember correctly. One of the few from the sub I don't want to part withunbroken1 wrote:
This poster was hand pulled, printed entirely on site and has a run half of the size of the magnaball set and gets no love![]()
I guess the phish phactor is mighty strong but in my opinion the 10klf blows the magnaball print out of the water.
And yes I do have one for trade so feel free to call me out for hyping it up, but the fact is it deserves more love.

A great print

These prints have all the makings of a high dollar Pollock, and rightly so, they are amazing in person, Jim created some truly special art for us to enjoy
Astron is the only one I think he left off that I would put on that list.Dalek wrote:Look at the detail in the Great Went Robot, UIC 98, Atl 99, Gorge 99 prints done by Pollock (I'm sure all of you have). These prints were a result of painstaking efforts to put in the most minute details in a process that makes details difficult. Worth the 1.5-4k? Absolutely. This hieroglyph print has barely any of that Jim Pollock detail that made him so famous..I hate to say it but this looks very rushed with no precision at all. A far, far step from even the Hampton 09, BGCA 14, Hartford 13 or even the official print done for Magnaball. "Instant classic?" Hardly.
Ooops. Yep definitely deserves to be on that list...I have the Astron and am a bit surprised with myself that it didn't immediately come to mind. I love Jim's work, and even in the last couple of years he's put out some great stuff..but these heiroglyph prints (and the Moe/Twiddle prints) are such a far cry from what he's capable of. the JP name will always get ya a good aftermarket sale, but the paper, ink, and quality of his 90's prints far, FAR surpasses that of the hieroglyph prints for the price.

Correct me if I'm wrong... but are the Egypt Prints the first time Jim has ever used Gold metallic ink?
And the MagnaBall official print, the first time he used Silver metallic ink?

"it was signed to someone... doesn't count"
"zero feedback buyer.... doesn't count"

But...but...you scored a set...your point doesn't count!

I got # 25 and I was roughly 25th in line. I think #'s 1-100 went were sold at the festival. As for #s over 100 - it seems like some were given to VIPs, some to the band and that Jim kept sometabsaid wrote:Anyone know the #'s run on the 100 prints sold to the public. I've seen as low as 33 and I've seen #'s over 100 in person so leads me to think 20-120 or 30-130. Band gets lowest, rest to drop on Pollocks site sometime.
