This bot talk is pretty entertaining... you should try being in the ticket game.. posters are the minor leagues in comparison.

I ran a ticket business for years... and if you think bots are bad in posters, you have never seen a thing.maddog76 wrote:Why is it amusing? Lol your great eye for art couldn't tell these would flip or did you need the reassurance of EB buyers for that?earlgreytoast wrote:+juan. Definitely makes me feel better about walking away from the merch table where piles of these were still available.

Serious question on inflation. For you guys who collect the vintage (Fillmore/Family Dog etc), would $400 get you a nice vintage 1st edition Dead Poster? Obviously not a Skull & Roses, but one of the other ones ...or at the very least a very good condition 2nd printing?
Does the fact that the "new generation" (not old enough to have seen the Dead w/Jerry) attended this show (or caught it on couch tour) warrant the inflated value?

I was too young to attend Woodstock, but old enough to know what it was about. I grew-up with this music and has left me with lasting impressions and memories of those times. Music was a big part of our lives (me and 2 sisters).apalma27 wrote:Present for Woodstock?IWish wrote:All I will say is that I was alive in 1965.partpat wrote:IWish wrote:I carted several times. Gonzo rules... I am on his team... We don't have a botz.gonzo303 wrote:Lol your great eye for art couldn't tell these would flip or did you need the reassurance of EB buyers for that?earlgreytoast wrote:+juan. Interesting point. I think the value on this is going to tank, thus not warranted. So many people have listed the set for sale its ridiculous.electrachrome wrote:Serious question on inflation.
