Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but are you seriously saying seeing the Eiffel Tower in person is the same as or even worse than seeing photos of the Eiffel Tower? If so, you just lost so much credibility.

I'll chime in.

This is a disaster. It's not a good print. As RN noted it seems repetitive and underwhelming. A scene we have often seen, doesn't bring the innovative factor that Jock was able to create with his Shaun of the Dead, even Halloween.

Step off the ladder and off the private commission theme park. Only good things that have come out of these groups are ALL Tomer Hanuka prints, 2001 by Eng, and that Lost in Translation by Matt Talor -pretty sure all by the E10 group- but who cares at this point. Please stop. Please stop. Please stop.

This was submitted to the database, so this piece is open to some critique. (or maybe it was just there so everyone can submit a drooling emoticon)

This poster just presents the movie as a straight up war piece, using re-hashed imagery ... so I think it is doing the flick a bit of a disservice. In that way, I think I prefer Tim Doyle's take from a few years back. Even if his style was a bit of a an odd marriage for the subject, the presentation had a little more creativity.

I love Jock's poster. Yes its the most iconic scene from Apocalypse Now but this is a top rendition of it and in my mind there is nothing wrong with seeing another version of that image. Sad that I missed out on this commission. Maybe I will pick one up one day. Doesn't quite beat my all time fave poster of the film (Japanese one below), but still, top notch. Well done Jock.

I think Jock did a great job. His style makes this image come alive with violence and heat. It makes Vietnam look pretty drymounting horrifying if you ask me.

I was just in Paris and saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time. I enjoyed the view quite a bit.

Problem is that its kinda tiny from where they created the viewing area. Beautiful country out there but i too was unimpressed
