Yeah they do. I love when Eng does something with some bright colors.

This print reminds me of his "Starship Troopers" print which is one of my favorites. I can't wait to see it in person. For my tastes he's hit-or-miss but when he hits it he nails it out of the friggin' park.

I can't wait to see this in hand.
It looks much brighter than his previous output.

Something about this poster is too calm. Like it doesnt show you the speed and adrenaline that the movie has in spades. They look more like junked cars in a light breeze of sand.

Agreed, perhaps it could of shown Max tied to the cross, some more Lancers on the back/front of cars, or even the guys counter-balancing on the poles at the end.

After seeing the movie this print seems more like an homage to a desert parking lot.

I saw the movie in 3D the night before the poster was released. Here's my take on this:
I think the poster is of the scene when they enter the sandstorm. Which explains why it looks like "junked cars...(post-apocoliptic-rat-rods) ...in a light breeze of sand...(sandstorm)." It especially makes sense that the spiked cars are present, but the guys on the poles are not--they come into the movie after the sandstorm. As for Max not being strung up on the front of the rod: agreed.

Problem is that Kilian didn't get to see the movie before the artwork...it was all from trailers. You've gotta figure the artwork started at least three months before the release of the movie.

I just saw the movie and really liked it. This scene does look like the beginning of the sand storm but you didn't even know anything about the sandstorm and what was going on from the trailers. Considering the timing, this is killer. Having seen the movie, I like the poster even more.
I used to be a collector...now I'm a hoarder.
