I just heard on the radio they may be releasing an "Archive" box set of Neil's music, 8 discs, goes up to the year 1970(something) and has a full unreleased album he did with Crazy Horse a long time ago...
I can't wait for this!
Buy yourself the album "Live Rust" It has a lot of his best known songs, including Cortez the Killer. It is definitely one of Neil's best
For those who may not know, ya betta learn!

can't believe anyone claiming to like Neil young never heard that song
Live rust is one of the best but the Zuma version is the best version of this misguided song, modern day " Black Legend " . Cortez bad ass , outnumbered ,sunk his ships to allow no retreat , did to the Aztecs what the Aztecs did to the natives . Aztecs came in from the North . Montezuma was stoned to death by his own people . Chualtemoc was garroted by the Spanish though . Neil should read Castillos book .

I think I've had Live Rust since I was 15 years old... or at least since Mortal Kombat II was out on SNES because I remember playing that game for hours while listening to live rust! I also remember Resident Evil on the playstation listening to live rust. I was saying I've never heard the song "A Friendly One"
There are probably over 200 Neil Young songs I know most of the lyrics to, but couldn't tell you the name for the life of me...
Goddamn I love Neil Young, I need to get this poster!

and while we are posting our favorite Neil songs...
Everybody Knows this is Nowhere
Walk On
Hey Hey My My/My My Hey Hey
Roll Another Number
Down By The River
and last BUT NOT LEAST: Farmer John
Those are probably my top favorites, but it changes all the time. Arc and Weld are GREAT also!
If anyone wants me to send them a DVD with over 30 Neil Albums on it, PM me... I'll hook you up!
edit: I love From Hank to Hendrix, one of my favorite songs he plays harp on... and one of these days is great too, reminds me of all my friends in Wisconsin... ok, I'll stop now I guess... love the keys in like a hurricaine...
