i don't think this show ever happened. it was rumored, but never happened. i was living in Seattle in 2002 and I would have been there if it happened.

sounded like a dream lineup to me. Have Pearl Jam every played a show with QOTSA before?
shows happened... but not with those openers
this was in a rumor pit
"October 24, 2002 - Seattle opener rumors
Even though someone's brother's sister-in-law's cousin's best friend's mother says Audioslave and Queens Of The Stone Age are the opening acts for Pearl Jam at the upcoming Key Arena benefit show in Seattle, it's not true. It's a 99.899999349999567999% false rumor. [margin of error intentional - hey, it's rock 'n' roll, not rocket science. ] The opening acts have yet to be named and we'll be sure to post the info when the time comes. "
the openers ended up being Brad, Steve Earle on night one and Brad, Mudhoney on night 2

so it was such a rumor that they created a poster for it? Riiiiiiiiiiight. Sounds like Ten Club holding back info, which is the norm with them. At least they cleared the air months in advanced. I'd a been pissed to have bought tix to see PJ, audioslave, and QOTSA only to see the other lineups.
this is a boot. cool though.
i do know that some of herrera's posters have been for sale at shows. the foo fighers for sure, and i've heard the audioslave also.

I came into possession of this print a couple of months ago and found it appealing for a number of reasons. I had a hard time believing this lineup actually played these dates for a purported benefit concert as there's contradictory / conflicting concert dates for PJ alone (with Brad and Steve Earle).
My curiosity stems from why AH would run off a poster for a concert/s that never took place. I sent him a note to see what, if anything I could learn. If he responds, I'll post the response for other curious souls.
Oh yeah...I dicked up the dates...s/b December 8/9 not August 8/9.
Peace
JP

Now i'm really intriqued...here's some guy selling the same poster...71 of 100...purportedly signed by the pearl jam members. I tried to get a note to Anthony Herrera but the email address I had wasn't any good.
Peace

those were bogus signatures
Does anybody have any current information about this poster? Has anybody ever heard back from the artist? They've recently been popping up again on eBay...

The paper isn’t thin stock, it’s not heavy duty, but it’s good quality.
