first print i ever bought, on holiday in san francisco back in '04- framed when i got home and still on my wall- the only emek i've ever wanted to own and i got it even before i even knew who emek was!

I can't recall exactly what made me aware of this poster... probably on eBay. Anyway, that era's QOTSA posters was what turned me on to Emek in a big way. And hence PNE; I had never heard of Jermaine or Hampton until that general timeframe. I was still hunting down 'the big game' of BG and FD posters and the like. But then, that's who I am... old fukk.

P.S. - I've loved this poster since the day I bought it. For me, if you like an Emek image, the admiration for the image never wanes.
I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.

I think I have the same doodle... and no numbering back then.

I just looked at mine. I must have a slate AP as well. Got it directly from Emek back at the time along with a few other 2003 QOTSA including the silver octopus & dino girl, etc.
Your pic looks exactly like mine. the split fountain b/g from dark gray at the bottom to blue at the top, etc.
I never marked mine in my document folder as slate ap but I'm doing that now.
