I"m not a huge fan of Fairey's collabs. There are some noticeable exceptions but in general do not see them working too well on the image. Although, I don't own one, the Fairey/DFace doesn't look as bad to me as it once did. Maybe this one will grow on me as well.

I agree with the D*Face collab is really good but I wish it would have been full page like this, The writing on the bottom kills the d*Face for me.

Overlapping screen print color layers looks better than offset IMO. Not buying into the craze of this print tho. Looks great. But what does it really mean to people? I guess I ain't from from LA originally. San Diego in the House!!!babbtke wrote:Maybe he will do an offset of this. I bet the 24 x 36 of this would look amaze balls!!

So what sign is he throwing up? Is that an "L" and an "A" for an "LA" over the icon?

This thing looks Amazing in person! Like it was just peeled off a pole. The layers give it a textured look I've never seen from an Obey release. Also, the trademark does nothing to take away in person. jmo

yeah I was actually planning on keeping my copy but then saw it in person and was pretty disappointed almost felt like a litho instead of a screenprint in a weird way. Showed it to my fiance and she was like "what the hell is that" I guess the LA hands don't read as clear in person to most people.akohn wrote:completely disagree - i dont like it at all in person. not very impressed.
so had no problem selling it to track down something I know I'd like

Plus, the "A" looks like a droopy nutsack on Andre's chin.egrimens wrote:yeah I was actually planning on keeping my copy but then saw it in person and was pretty disappointed almost felt like a litho instead of a screenprint in a weird way.
