Yes, I'm sure you could.

Love the image just wish he trimmed the bottom for the art print version and make it 18" x 24".

Where are the listings for the mini-prints?

http://jermainerogers.limitedrun.com/pr ... t-variants

I like the image a lot, but not enough to get either of the posters...the mini-prints are perfect IMO and I'd like to seek one out.

Did this really merit an art print version?

There are plenty of great gig print images that work well as art prints because the artwork can stand alone without the context of the gig/band name.

This is not one of them. Without the context of the Primus tour and theme- this looks silly and amateurish on its own. If that is what Jermaine was trying to accomplish, then he did it in spades.

Just my opinion.

It's just a funny mashup image on a $50 poster. Not every art print needs to embody the higher aesthetic virtues espoused by fine art collectors the world over.

And fwiw, I don't even think it's that clever or funny either, just have no problem with JR making this into an art print, except for my complaint above. I bet it sells out with the quickness, mo money for a very under appreciated gig poster artist.

I love the primus version, but agree art print is not needed and doesn't work particularly well.

I think you are over-analyzing my statement. I'm all for a fun print- Marq Spusta is a prime example of light-hearted, fun designs that can work with or without the gig attached.

This one is no bueno. Not trying to make it into something it's not, it just wasn't nicely done to begin with, but at least it made sense.

This is clearly a half-hearted cash grab.

Sold out.

BTW, Jermaine doesn't do "cash grabs".
