I can think of several reasons, but I don't give away my tips. 8)

Just so people stop e-mailing me about this: I know the Jaws poster isn't accurate to Cape Code. That's because it's a map of a f---ing shark.
The success of this print seems to be getting to him. Congrats on those who scored his AP.
Wow what a douche
I thought it was a pretty funny response

edit: wow those guys that sold this right out the gate are going to be feeling pretty sick right about now

note to self: when you see a good Jaws print - buy one

If anyone told you they'd be selling for 1k a month out, you'd have called them crazy.

I sold mine, and am happy for what I got, it also went to someone on eb.

If i sold mine for $89 and a couple of weeks later one sold for $1k i would be kicking myself especially if I sold it to someone on EB

Well I am assuming the main reason is because you took a ton of nice pics of the actual print, versus posting a JPEG- so I wouldn't really consider that a "tip" more just common sense.

$89, yeah, that would suck- but within 24 hours it Was going for more than that. There are certainly a few sales that low first. That's the risk you run for insta-flipping.

I put mine up after prices started climbing and I asked myself exactly how much do I like this print?
