This makes me want to like Batman. If anything in any of the Batman movies was as interesting as this piece then Batman would be cool.

Delort's the goddamn man. :notworthy: Craziest thing is that there's very little in obvious Batman imagery, maybe a sorta bat symbol with the umbrella/shadow, but otherwise it's just a gorgeous environment piece that works as a Batman piece thanks to the somber tone.

This is an amazingly well done piece. Its difficult to come up with an artwork for a subject thats already been done by so many different artists but this is something else. One of my favourite Batman pieces and a must have for me.

DT you're so funny when you're not getting indignant about people's comments on David's art. :P

Kinda agree. I love Batman as much as the next guy and I'm a huge Delort fan as well. Just can't see myself ever hanging this one up. Dead parent tomb prints don't usually make for household wall art. Then again, people bought hundreds of Horkey dead bird prints, so who knows.

The drop isn't going to happen until the end of December.

To each their own. I actually think it's more hangable than a lot of the Batman stuff out there. It's more subdued than a giant Joker face or something that came straight out of a comic book.
Because it's the print we deserve, but not the one we need right now. So we'll hunt it.

Let's not start sucking each other's dicks quite yet.

Strange how peoples minds differ. I would easily hang this over a poster of a bunch of floating faces. But then again I am going to hang that dead bird with pride. It's nature, things die. Some people just don't like having to think about death I guess?

No news. French Paper Art Club dropped some of their prints from the show but this was not one of them that they planned to do, still waiting for the release.

Though if the drop today was any indication, I'm expecting random time of day for whatever day they announced. Think their site can only handle like, 20 hits at a time...
