i'm just surprised that people are SO very excited by these.

Granted i'm not a huge parody fan, nor am I a family guy fan. So hey, its not for me. It'll make someone's walls complete.

But even if you had done the same thing with the Simpsons something I'm a huge fan of, I don't think it would make me want it any more. it just looks like something people would hang up in their dorm room that was a lithograph. Or did on reddit or deviant art.

like these:

idk.
jkw3000 - Nobody ever really wins in this hobby.
Olly - I'm a hack asshole unable to provide you with what you want.

To each there own! Personally, I'm a fan of this set, but will never go out of my way to own them.

yeah, im going to go with family guy was a parody of star wars and this is in fact a family guy poster that would afoul the family guy licensing for larger distribution. It is likely a parody of Tyler's star wars so probably on the right side of that issue.

so, all told well executed but not my jam

I just sent copies of jpegs to Kirker Butler. He'll definitely get a kick out of these.

Funny stuff. I love the over reaction prints like this create here on EB.

For "The Family Guy" fan out there these must be considered a Grail. I'm most impressed with the parody on Tyler's Star Wars set, well done. Glad Tyler had a good heart with this and let it happen. In today's world of money trumps all, it's nice to see an artist giving a thumbs up for projects like this to happen. As for Seth McFarland, maybe he'll own a set too some day lol.

The private commission community has been putting out better work this year than a lot of the galleries... /cough /cough MONDO

I think these are great - well executed and a nice take on a modern "classic" - its not something I would ever hang on the wall but its still a very good set of prints.
