So if i'm on the fence still with this print, which side should I fall on? Buy or not buy?

(to those who have it already)

I would rank it as an average McCarthy print, but not a must have in my opinion. I very seriously doubt that my print will ever be framed. I am not saying that it is bad, but if you are on the fence based on the jpeg I would probably pass on this one and wait for one you really want.

If you've got 35 bucks burning a hole in your pocket, I wouldn't hesitate. I'm not a Lord of the Rings fan, and didn't even notice the characters in the original jpeg, although the title does suggest the theme. I simply liked the imagery of the mountains, trees and the colors used. Framed up with a 2 to 3 inch matte, I dont think too many people will notice the "hikers," as I call them. You might easily find other McCarthys you like better, but I find I'm quite happy with mine and will post pics once its framed.

It is smaller than most of his other prints and I like that... and the detail is nice in the print above average IMO
