I've been reading that he has some of the funniest lines in the movie. Very deadpan and literal. Very much looking forward to seeing this. (And hopefully snagging this print in some form)ToolFanFromWayBack wrote:Wait. So you're saying Dave Batista does well as an actor? Whoda thunk it?PatHobby wrote:The flick is definitely not a turd. Saw it the other week. Lame villains and typical Marvel "hey, remember 9/11?" ending -- but the five lead characters are so great you seriously don't care.

Bautista seems a little smarter than a typical noodle brain to me. Could be wrong. He was in a couple movies before this. I didn't like Man w/ the Iron Fists, and I didn't see Riddick, so I can't really say anything there, but these 3 films for your first 3 ain't too bad really. I guess people think it's going to flop because they don't know the characters. Everything I've read has been the opposite of negative.

400?! That's adorable, impatient people.
A large number of Marvel movies rely on a large aircraft falling/crashing from the sky and wiping out big buildings. I realize it's partially about special effects innovations - but it's becoming an all too common shortcut to an emotional response.captainhavoc wrote:wutPatHobby wrote:typical Marvel "hey, remember 9/11?" ending

I'm quite excited for the movie, as well as the Stout drop.
Has anyone seen what the regular version looks like, yet? I'm guessing no, since I couldn't find any images except of the variant, but I just thought I'd ask.

But movie not really out yet, lottos and reg drops not even happen yet, and people are going nuts paying more than they would for Avengers for a second tier hero group?
Shits been dry around these parts I guess. I am excited to see the reg and the film but fudge people. fudge.

So 350 variants, and most likely 750 regs. So many desperate people to get a Stout before anyone else, but a bunch of auctions are about to end without bids. Looking at the graphs for Avengers Stouts, the best time to buy was about 2-3 months after the movie came out (factoring in all of the copies that Stout releases, a high supply meeting a high demand).
