It's funny, there's been more great private commish pieces in all the groups than what Mondo has put out this year.

yeah but the commish groups have almost no limits, people are willing to spend much more on pieces because they're able to get exactly what the want. it's probably not as easy for mondo to do that, considering they release licensed.. just a guess.63schoeffling wrote:It's funny, there's been more great private commish pieces in all the groups than what Mondo has put out this year.
This is what happens when a commission works. I have been in a few where I wasn't happy with the end result but a commission = commitment and you deal with it. So far in all the Chris Weston commissions I have been in have been run really well, with a few minor speed bumps but the lead commissioner has done an amazing job. Its easy to collect money but its not so easy to convey art direction from the group to the artist.
I'm happy with the end result and cant wait for it to be printed.
