Placed my order at 11:10am today and got order #317.

Regular run should be around 250.

I don't want to say I told you so but...
aivc wrote:450 is a very high guess considering they are based in Belgium and that shipping is killer there.

I'm guessing it'll end up around /250

My guess is that there are many people in the same boat. But congrats to all who have picked this up! It really is gorgeous...
Licensing in this case isn't an issue because the book is in the public domain.
You missed my point. I was referring to the certain appeal that many (including me) attach to licensed products, including posters and prints. This poster is not licensed (nor, I understand, does it need to be), but that is one of the things I consider when deciding to purchase a piece. It's not a deal breaker, by any means. For example, I own Durieux's Bigfoot National Park. But "licensed or not licensed?" is in the mix of considerations, especially when it costs me more than $100.

UPDATE:
I didn't. But I certainly understand those who did. And it's absolutely fantastic that the Durieux twins have started Nautilus. Can't wait to see what's up next!

Plus the fact you own the first print this Company has ever done is pretty cool.

And with that, 264 hopes for a Durieux OG are dashed.

That's still a pretty decent edition size IMO.

I couldn't justify grabbing one just because I'm not familiar with the property but congrats to all who grabbed it. It's a beauty.
Go ahead, make my millennium.

I can't wait to see it in person. I personally prefer cinema centric prints, but this is an amazing book and has stirred the imagination of millions over the years.

I'm sorry I didn't see this until today. Totally worth a timed release. More good work by Durieux.
