true. each artist has his unique style. we can't really say which one is better than the other. it's just a personal favor thing.

Jungle Book is far & away my favorite Disney movie of all time. Plus I love the image that Olly created for the movie. Now I just need to inherit some money so I can afford to buy one to put on my wall.DonPiano wrote:The Birds is a much better print than the Jungle Book. It's also for a much better film. I do wonder how many people who have The Jungle Book print really love it - or rather, how many people who are ISO it are massive fans of The Jungle Book. Out of all the Disney cartoon's out there it doesn't strike me as one that people have ultra fond memories of. Maybe it just didn't strike a chord with me, but I just don't see what was so good about it.
All this Bird vs JP comparison is stupid, and it doesn't make sense. Plus, monetary value should mean nothing....
Movies - majorly different... in every way
Poster - majorly different styles and artists
Release style - both gallery exclusives
I really like Moss' JB, own it, and it will be on my wall shortly. The Birds will never even make it to my flat, I will never own it, and I could care less.

Main ISOs: Stout "Pulp Fiction" & anything Phlegm
Let me sum it up for you. They're compared for the fact they've been hyped as the best thing ever from their respective gallery show and in both cases, many people have used exagerated hype to maximise profit on them. That's it.kcn0 wrote:All this Bird vs JP comparison is stupid, and it doesn't make sense. Plus, monetary value should mean nothing....

People just lost focus. Comparing the movies or talent of Moss vs. Durieux is of course totally besides the point.

My favorite movie of all time is The Jungle Book. I used to watch it every night as a kid (march along with the elephants) and this August I leave to work in Disney World. To say I need/want this print is an understatement, but as a kid straight out of college I won't be able to afford this print for a long time

Looks like one of these just went for $600 on the For Sale thread http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... 0&t=139509

And that's a conservative estimate.
