According to Durieux, 25 copies of the regular version were misprinted with metallics like the variant. It looks like the first wave of people who picked up the regulars when they arrived at the gallery got them.

Well that explains why mine is so shiny! It's also 1/4 inch longer...at least mine is. For a while I really thought I got a variant by mistake.

id be bummed if I was in the first 25 Friday and missed out. But I was like 42 so no worries. im wondering why this listing says Signed and Numbered when they are not signed (unless you had LD sign yours as one of your 3). Think that needs to be changed, hate for someone to trade or buy and be bummed there is no sig. just my .02

Just saying....there are people that will flip out and make a huge deal if they "think" its signed and its not.

For those that care about the weird size of this: I just checked my variant and it measures approximately 24 3/16" x 36 3/8". I was wondering why I had such a tough time getting it in my poly bag...it's a pretty tight fit.

It is too bad that it does not match the size of the BTTF2 print but it is still a very pretty poster. The GID in particular is very nice, I wish I could take a picture of it but perhaps someone else on here has better equipment then I and can manage it.

Were VIP's LD's friends/family or somehow connected to Mondo? Just interested in how that works.dskdaniel wrote:If was #37, but surely the first 25 were VIPs? Even my voucher I think said 60 something despite my place in line.

I think the metallic regular was just given to the first 25 who picked up Saturday, and not first 25 from Friday with numbers. I was number 60 for preorder, but got a metallic print because I went to get stuff signed and picked up right when the gallery opened Saturday
