The distortions Laurent integrated into the poster image to give the viewer a sense of vertigo are even more dramatic in the inks. In the ink piece, you can clearly see the techniques he used to create the dizzying effect. It's flippin awesome.

sun to the right, this version might have given the idea to...
add the vertigo effect to the top of the tower

Yeah, looks like the kind of print that is stunning in person compared to the jpegs. All the photos I've seen have floored me, in particular the variant...wneff wrote:The distortions Laurent integrated into the poster image to give the viewer a sense of vertigo are even more dramatic in the inks. Living in SF gives this movie such an added appeal for me ... seems like one of the least loved prints from the show, but I completely dig it.
When Hanuka did his Vertigo a few years ago, pretty sure I posted this vid ... what ever happened to Harvey Danger?

It's a beauty, Clark.
Reg FTW, IMO.
Like the var, but not too keen on the purple.

Wasn't there another sketch with him standing looking up at the tower, with Madeleine in the window? I liked that idea better, I didn't think of Vertigo as a "running" kind of movie. Sure, him running gives the print a hectic feel, but I like the idea of him standing better.

Really don't understand why there isn't more attention for this one, sure I love RW and the Tippi Birds for their, perhaps more, subtly imagery but every time I look at this I like it even more. I really struggle to think how this could be any better....
Although the green on the variant looks great the reg wins it for me simply because I think it will look compliment some of the other prints better....
