I got one off these and the price is absurd.

I'm off to the F/T section.

Why anyone would want an entire album made up of 7-inch records is beyond me. I hate when I see stupid fudge like this. I laugh at the fact that this is as expensive as it is.

That's really not the point I want to make here.

There has been a trend lately that Ive seen of entire albums being released as 7"s and I just don't understand who would actually want this?

Nobody is going to play an entire album consisting of a bunch of 7"s. You wanna talk beanie babies fudge? This is the definition of beanies babies fudge in the vinyl collecting world, IMO.

Beyond the collectibility, the sound quality is better on vinyl cut at 45 rpm.
On 33 1/3 rpm, it's usually space over quality:

I know the difference between 33 and 45s, Im pretty heavy into record collecting. Again, that's nothing you can't do with 12" vinyl. The issue here is that playing vinyl is inherently a pain in the ass to do, so why the hell would people want to add extra inconvenience by playing an entire album made of 7" records? It's just dumb and I think this dumb trend (not just singling out Pearl Jam because I see this a lot lately) needs to stop.
