what is missing from the print compared to the original is the color streaks on the umbrella representing water rolling off. Instead, the print just has the mist from the rain. to me this is a mistake. would have been nice if the color streaks were added by hand finishing

I've been looking forward to this for a while and had that thought as well about the hand finishing on the umbrella, also the rain streaks are much more uniform than the street piece. It's only $57 so I'm still grabbing one.morrison1334 wrote:what is missing from the print compared to the original is the color streaks on the umbrella representing water rolling off. Agreed - like the rain on the umbrella, would have been badass with hand finishing. 300 is a pretty large print size. Still might get one, but I'm a bit strapped at the moment!essential wrote:I've been looking forward to this for a while and had that thought as well about the hand finishing on the umbrella, also the rain streaks are much more uniform than the street piece. 100% Agree - the original is awesome!
The print looks too clean in comparison.

In fact, I love the splashing around the ground of the original street piece, like the rain was running of the umbrella and onto the ground. very cool.soam24 wrote:Yes the street piece has the extra elements I'm looking for. The print edition is very bland
