I like it. Mostly for the book though. However I wish that Mondo would stop using Ansin for new releases. It's about time they picked up Terry Gilliams trail once more so that they can deliver us an Ansin Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, or 12 Monkeys...

I have such love for this film. it's one of the few films that I wish i could erase from my memory. To be able to watch it, again, for the first time!
I'm concerned that Ansin may miss the mark.
There has yet to be a print worthy for this film.

Also, would be amazing to see Ansin do a few for Peter Greenaway!!!
Imagine an Ansin print for The Cook the Thief, His Wife,& Her Lover!!!!!

Yes, Orson Scott Card is a bit frustrating in that his personal beliefs go counter to the point, behaviour, and qualities that many of his heroes/heroines in his books exhibit. I can understand people staying away from his books (and now the film) if you so choose - that's your option. But I'll be going - the love I have for the story isn't something that I attach to a love/care about the author's personal beliefs. I'm sure that I could find something that I don't care for in plenty of other actors, writers, artists, etc. that I collect or appreciate as well, it's just that OSC is very outspoken about his religion and beliefs (and thus his position on homosexuality) when it comes to doing promo circuits, book tours, etc.

I'll probably be trying for this one... been a while since I've planned to take a shot at a Mondo print...

Why does Mondo always have Ansin create good prints for meh movies? Man of Steel, Elysium, now Ender's Game... anyone want a PB?

Awesome as always from Ansin. Is the movie good? I bought Elysium before seeing it and immediately sold it at a loss because the movie was so disappointing it pissed me off. I had the same reaction to Man of Steel. I hope this isn't round 3. Please put Ansin back to work on a classic and good film.

I think Man of Steel was fantastic. The print itself was amazing. Not sure how you could sell the Man of Steel, it's just visually stunning on my wall.

Elysium, yeah I can see that being hard to get rid of. The print looks great... Movie not so much.

I think Ender's Game will do better due to the fact it has a great novel behind it.

Finally a great looking poster from mondo. I mean Ansins prints are allways beautiful . Seriously though mondo was pushing out some really sub par stuff for the last couple months. But much like everyone is saying Ansin is just too good for movies like this. Regardless if everyone loves the book, if a movie bombs it won't be doing this print any favors. They need to put him on classic or cult movies already.

I'd give my left nut for an Ansin or Stout Fear and Loathing

I'd love to see him break out of his new layout - the fragmented image thing he's doing now. His older stuff is way better.
