An edition of 200 sold in a store is not supposed to be street art but it is very close to the things he puts on the street. So people appreciating his street work don't have to rip it of the street.
On his website it says right next to the store button - "support the invasion". That's what you do when you buy stuff there.

Erm. No.
Erm, yes.
OK, let me be more precise. If it's Invader doing the cancelling as part of some sort of policing effort, then 'No'. Flippers doing the cancelling because they're left holding $1k worth of tiles they can't move, then 'Yes'.

It's like a kickstarter page. for 1k, you get tiles, for 50 dollars, you get a book. Money for him to make a decent living and continue invading cities all over the world. This is not some MBW cash grab with his releases and this thing happens only once a year.
What is the difference when the fans try to raise money for Phlegm to paint a wall or when Invader himself is asking money through selling kits so that he can continue putting up street pieces? The prices? Then don't buy it. No one is putting a gun to your head.

It's possible to open these without damaging the static cover, with some patience...

Print for scale:

It's heavy and has an adhesive backing but is quite floppy without support. I'm gonna sandwich it between two layers of perspex with a frame around it.
