You said it. It's a beautifully crafted scene in the film and now looks even more captivating as a work of art. The details are superb! Gotta hand it to Mr. Englert for a damn fine job.

Yeah, definitely an interesting choice but if you are a fan of the film (which I'm not either), he definitely knocked it out of the park.

Beautiful image, odd film. I didn't hate it, but it was such a weird mashup of Kubrick's cold cynicism with Spielberg's benevolent optimism. I feel like it would've been wonderful had either Kubrick had the chance to do it, or if Spielberg tackled it from scratch without the Kubrick influence.

I feel like this is a film that may get better with a second watch, especially years later. I mostly ordered the print because it looks purdy. :silly:

The flick has really aged great... regardless of the print, do yourself a favor and watch it again. Beautiful and heart-breaking film... Haley Joel just drives that flick perfectly.

Thanks for confirming what I hoped was true, Mark. :2thumb: I've grown a lot since 2001, I better get the tissues ready as I watch it with my new grown-up POV.

And thanks for making awesome art!
