Completely unrelated to the actual print, more to the film... here's a three hour doco on the making of Aliens. Watch it.
Also, whilst this is not like Ken's Alien print, I'm glad that it isn't as the films Alien and Aliens are very different from one another. Now... even though I'll never be able to afford the Alien (II) print, or have any interest in this Aliens print (even though it sure is nice), I'd KILL to see Ken do an Alien3 print. Specifically the version of the film which is of the wooden planet in space. But, failing that, I'd kill for an Alien3 print regardless.

Me too! While certainly far from the best of the series, in terms of the creature itself, the Dog Alien (or Ox, depending on the version that you're watching) is easilly the best of the aliens from a visual standpoint.DonPiano wrote:I'd kill for an Alien3 print regardless.

I absolutely disagree with that, but to each his own. If an alien 3 print went on sale, I'd buy one to protect my flat file from scratching my wood floors.

I am going to save this post for when the ZOMG STOUT ALIEN3 is announced and you both cream your pants over it. Or in GBD's case, Mike Mitchell.GiantBoyDective wrote:i'd line my cat's litter box with it.thisisjosh wrote:I absolutely disagree with that, but to each his own. Anyone know if Ken will have APs for this print? I've had my fingers crossed for 3 weeks and they are starting to cramp..

You’ll get a shot at some AP copies of Ken Taylor’s Aliens poster tomorrow. It’s a 24″ x 36″ screenprint, has an edition of 50, and will cost $60. The glow in the dark variant has an AP edition of 30 and will cost $100. These go up tomorrow (Thursday, September 5th) “around” 2pm Central Time. Visit Postersandtoys.com.
