Well this is disappointing, metal variant finally arrived.
Damaged.
And this is just the bottom part, I only removed enough packaging to start the inspection.

I contacted Odd City:
Never knew that about metal prints."Every single metal print we have has some slight imperfection on it of some kind. That's just the nature of the metal prints and the screen printing process. What we see in the images you sent are imperfections and not damage."
Imperfections are understandable, but that gash looks to be something other than just a souvenir from the screen-printing process. If others could kindly share their observations for the same print, then it could make your case stronger for a replacement or a refund or credit for future purchases.HarpuaFSB wrote:I contacted Odd City:

This poster is amazing in its depiction of the Jaeger, but that big cartoony Kaiju head in the clouds is a distraction; its eye more than anything! Although the metallic inks would have had me click the checkout button in a flash if I'd known about this sale back then. I would love to see images of the metal print that had an edition of fifty-five.
